Happy Thanksgiving and SHS Music Update

Posted Date: 11/26/25 (09:00 AM)

Dear SAU # 6 Community,

It is with great pleasure to share this update regarding our Stevens High School Music Members.

STEVENS HIGH SCHOOL STATE CHAMPIONS: Lily Eagan, Miles Sheehan, Nikki Bouchard, Onyx Adrian, Trevor Adams, Andrew Grady!

Please help me CONGRATULATE these 6 incredible students who earned spots in the New Hampshire All-State Music Festivals! Being selected for this festival is the highest honor a high school musician can achieve. To put into perspective truly how spectacular this accomplishment is: these students auditioned against EVERY high school musician in the state-no divisions, no adjustments for school size or resources- they truly represent the best of the best! In order to score a spot in the festivals, they had to demonstrate college level musicianship in an intensive audition.

Competing against hundreds of students across the ENTIRE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE here is how they placed:

-Lily Eagan: 1st place bari saxophone - All State Band

-Andrew Grady: 1st place piano - All State Modern Band

-Onyx Adrian: 2nd place clarinet - All State Band

-Nikki Bouchard: 3rd place bass clarinet - All State Orchestra

-Trevor Adams: 3rd place timpani & 4th place snare drum - All State Orchestra

-Miles Sheehan: 5th place bass vocalist - All State Choir

Note from Mrs. Trudeau, high school music teacher: “These students are true leaders in the SHS music department. They exhibit an extraordinary level of professionalism and musicianship. And more, they are some of the best humans you will meet who care deeply not only for their craft, but for their peers and their school. I couldn’t be prouder of this crew, and am so honored to be their music teacher. It is such a joy to see their dedication acknowledged and their hard work paying off.”

Please join me in congratulating them all!  We are grateful to have Taylor Trudeau leading them all.

On behalf of SAU #6, we wish you a peaceful Thanksgiving!  We are all thankful for you and our community.  You are dedicated, thoughtful, and generous!  We appreciate you!

Schools are closed until Monday, December 1st.
